Questions schools ask
How do parents order and pay?
Parents use the free School Meals app or the web portal: they top up a wallet (KYD or USD), pick meals for each child up to the daily cutoff, and pay from the wallet. No cash, no paper forms.
Can vendors take orders at the counter?
Yes — a web or tablet POS rings any student’s order on the spot, and an unattended kiosk lets students self-order and pay from the family wallet or program funds.
Does it handle free or subsidised meal programs?
It’s built for exactly that. Ministries or schools fund meals with per-grade and per-category caps; overflow charges the parent wallet, and vendors roll redemptions into a claim invoice for approval.
How long does onboarding take?
Most vendors go live in under a week. Onboard now and every module lights up on your school as it lands — no migration needed.
